Picking up groceries tomorrow. Note the total price, and the 'estimated savings'. Yes, that term leaves a LOT of room for jiggery-pokery on the part of the grocery chain, but for the most part it's an indicator of bargain shopping. Sure, I pay more than I want, but I don't pay more than I need to either. It's a rare grocery order that doesn't run 20% ' savings, and almost 50% of the total like this one, that happens often. There's a 'free' turkey on this order (400 points), with enough points still left to get me $1.60 off a gallon on a fill up.
