I take some minor pride in squeezing our grocery pennies with a stunning pinch. Mostly I shop at Giant, using their pickup to avoid the store, and taking every advantage I can. Yesterday's grocery order was roughly $160 with $80 in savings over regular prices. That is some serious shopping, that is. On top of that I filled my tank and got $1 off a gallon.
Imagine my joy on waking today and checking the bank account, just to find Giant charged me $190+ instead of what my shopping invoice said. Damn. Checking it out, I see they arbitrarily took away some coupons and discounts without explanation.
Yes, I did their obligatory contact form, as they avoid human contact at all costs. This has happened in the past and they have refunded their theft. I call it 'theft' because the mistake is 100% of the time in their favor, and that means no chance is involved.
Only proves... trust nobody, and verify everything, every time.
