Hugo stuff: 'Plus or Minus', by james Patrick Kelly

Short story... and that's a tough craft to wiggle around in. This one is good. Character development is meaningful and fitting to the story. The plot is not complicated, but twisty enough to hold the story and characters in an interesting framework.

It's the kind of story that sticks in your head, and comes back to you later.

Good work.
