A pattern seems to be emerging..... (Me-Stuff)

After only a few days of 'Summer Break', I'm beginning to see a loose structure emerging. Each day is broken into three phases..... sort of.

1) The things I get accomplished to satisfy my somewhat stunted work ethic. I must do something... usually substantial to my eye... or suffer internal guilt for 'wasting' time. On Monday, I prepped and painted the whole front porch... that sort of thing.

2) The artsy/creative phase. This might entail doing something at the jewelry bench, or perhaps working with my image library. The last few days I have been a bit dried up in this area. My muse is sulking, or away on vacation, or drunk in a bar someplace.

3) The flat on my butt relaxing phase. THIS one I have well covered. Lounging over coffee in the morning, slothing with a book in the evening, Facebooking at any hour.... I have the whole 'relaxing and recharging' thing well in hand. If the couch was more comfortable to me, I could see it getting out of hand quickly.

One thing to add: Ibuprofen has become a regular breakfast item now. Apparently, productively getting things done can be painful. I'll have to be sure and keep moderation on my mind.

Blink. Blink.

Yep, enjoy and recharge! As we get older, that takes longer and longer!
