Sometimes I'm just not thrilled by what I make. More often than not, a piece with a displeasing line will go into the scraps crucible, destined for melting under the torch.

Sometimes, a piece will not appeal to my personal sense of interest or beauty, but leaves behind a nagging feeling that someone, someplace, will want it.

Case in point.... what is pictured above. What started as splashed balls of rocket hot silver skittering across the cold steel plate, ended up together in one small pendant.

Since they are currently in the news, I thought you were trying to make a pair of silver Truck Nutz and didn't quite get them symmetrical.

It was not my intention... Lol.

First person I showed the piece to made that connection as well.

Sigh.

Actually, there is actually a demand in the Yoni/Lingam jewelry market...
Seriously.

Oddly enough (or not) it does appeal to me....

Seriously, though, it looks like the beginning of a cascade of drops. I'm picturing a few more of them emanating from the lower end.

I actually saw a stylized female head and hair, and my first thought was "Ooh, that's pretty".
