Looks like I should probably stop discussing the actions of my school administration publicly for a while. It's appearing more and more like there might have to be (Shudder) a lawyer (unshudder) involved.

Luck with it, Teach. The few hints you've dropped support the surmise.

I am aware of a former administrator of mine (who took out many teachers, many who had been at the school for 10 years or more), being taken out herself after she decided she went after the office manager (of more than 10 years). Her strategy was to put her in charge of attendance, hire a new office manager, have former train newer, and then ask newer to harrass former. During evalutation process, she was highly critical, writing it up and asking former to sign to document. Assistant principal resigned, and 2 days later, head was fired and then replaced by resigned principal.

Don't be afraid to wield the legal hammer if necessary. Why should you roll over and play dead for them? I can't do much, but if help is needed, let me know. I can always raise a few bucks for the shark fund.

Peter,

Thank you for the kindly thoughts. It's my hope it will never get that far.
