P-Mags okay with REMF's again....

A while back some mental giant in a backwater Pentagon office where otherwise useless personnel are assigned issued a missive that clearly stated only his pet army approved magazines were to be used in combat.... and Magpul P-mags were not on his likey list, even though they have a military stock number, are available through channels, and significant number of real warriors demand them.

I suspect said mental giant was quickly shown an order for a free six month research trip into the hottest combat zones possible, where he could report back on the feasibility and performance of said army authorized gear..... from a forward fire base.

Now, the Army REMF is backpedaling at amazing speed with an 'It was all a misunderstanding!!' explanation. I especially like the part where they say no one has to listen to that idiot anyway, just do what you think is right.
