Peter Grant's second book: Ride the Rising Tide

Our own Peter Grant, of lofty 'Bayou Renaissance Man' fame, has released the second book in his Maxwell Saga.

His First Book
in the series was released a while back, and I've been anxiously waiting for this second one to appear. Both are stored on the Kindle App on my cell phone, to be read as/where/when I can.

After enjoying the first book immensely, the arrival of the second tossed a seriously large monkey wrench in my reading Que. I've quite a bit of material to get through before exercising my Hugo Award vote, and another book to review for a publisher. Despite that, Peter's book knocked them aside in favor of a couple long afternoons on the patio engrossed in the life of Steve Maxwell.

Peter Grant brings a long personal history to the table, and it shows in the story development. His time spent in the military fills in details that bring the story to life, allowing one to see echos of real people in the characters.

Look..... each book is only $2.99 as a Kindle download. That might be the best reading bargain of the summer, and the fact that Peter is a fellow blogger just sweetens the pot.
