Glenlivit Founders Reserve.
This lively offering from Glenlivit is a very tasty single malt. No age statement, but who cares? It TASTES GOOD.
I first tried this because it was on sale, a couple years back. As I recall, something like $34 a bottle..... for *Glenlivit*. Today, it's typically in the $38 to $42 range. That is incredible pricing for a decent single malt Scotch from a top distiller.
The flavor is complex, with hints of citrus, oak, fruity in general. The flavor is layered out to be very smooth indeed, and has become a real favorite. I'd love to say I always have some on hand, but damn.... this is really easy to drink.
In fact, this finishes the bottle :-(
