Do I hear fiddle music?

Governors: President Trump MUST be the one making states follow the guidelines. The feds must supply everything the governors say they need, must pay all the states bills, and must take the heat for closing down business nationwide.
Trump: Um.... we'll help of course, but Governors need to get on the ball and source the equipment they need, and make decision for their own states on the economic hardships that will be inflicted on the citizens. The federal government will do what we can, but it's always better sourcing things closer to the need, and making decisions locally. That's common sense.
Governors: Screw You Cheeto! This is all your fault and it's on you to deal with every aspect of this. Your neck is out on this, not ours. Give us everything and make all the decisions, like we are ordering you to.
People: Screw all of you government assholes, It's time to get out of our way before the economy is totally tanked.
Trump: Only *I* get to decide when and what we will do!
Governors, every last one of them: The hell you say! That's OUR job (suddenly) and no way in hell you can tell us what to do. You are a tyrant for even trying to tell states what to do! This has turned the corner and we can see a payoff in sight, so it's ON US to cement any benefits and profit from this that we can. Butt out Cheeto!
Trump: Oh.... Okay then. It's on you then. Good deal. Here's some opinions and guidelines if you want. Good luck, and have a nice day.
