Flupocolypse, day 18.7, dinner...

I escaped isolation today, and found the fresh green things.  Nom Nom.

Roasted drumsticks that I brined for a few hours. Asparagus, not damaged by fancy tricks.  Just olive oil, seasoning, and roast. Sliced zucchini, soaked in a seasoned egg/milk mix and pan fried in olive oil.

Tomorrow we may make a run for it and find more.... and we may not.   Here in PA, the beer-flu is ramping up.  A few hundred cases in this county, and I expect that really means a few thousand.... which is reaching the point where I'd rather not.

Shit got serious in the home today, as Herself is now unemployed.  Her employer abused her enough that she walked, and I support her in that.  Dealing with that kind of mental instability is grinding, and makes for a life not worth living.  I suspect the wobbly Doc drove Herself out on purpose, to reduce payroll.  Again, not unexpected.

So, it's squeaky time money-wise.  It's okay, I've been planning for this.  People are what they are, and assigning probabilities to people doing dumb shit is fairly easy.  Squeaky, but not penny pinching. I'll still buy the really good bacon, just not by the slab, ya know?

Now, if *I* lose *my* job.... that's different.  Fingers crossed.

Oh, and I ALMOST have all the laundry done!  All it took was a global pandemic and a worldwide depression!
