I don't think it will be that simple
From Glenn Reynolds PJ media, a story about deaths in NYC.
"Before the pandemic struck New York City, 20-25 people a day were dying at home according to the city medical examiner's office. Now, that number is more than 200, raising questions about how many of those who die in their own beds actually died of corona virus."
It's a fair question. An 800% increase in people dying at home is striking.... but is it simple?
Can we just assume those deaths are all CV related? I mean... actual Corona virus cases where people just went TU quietly in their own home?
I will bet a good number are.... but how many people died at home of other causes, simply because they were afraid to go seek medical care? Da Guv of NY is holding daily hours long speechifying, talking about how slammed the NYC hospitals are. Image after image of body bags being stacked. Etc.
Who would willingly walk into the horror that's being portrayed 24/7 by Da Guv and Da Mayor?
Numbers matter, but quantifying them is not going to be easy. In fact, I don't think we will EVER have an accurate count of any single factor in this mess.
