The Bourbon is running low....

This pandemic lock down is getting right serious up in here.

The Bourbon
Is Almost Gone.

And frankly, I'm only good on rum for just so long.  Gin, why yes, but I am out of mixers and seldom drink it straight.  Wodka... yup, got plenty, but not hankering it at the moment

I guess it's down to the Gift of the Agave.  Tequila my friends.  Specifically the 1800 Anejo offering.  Tasty stuff.  I can handle this for a bit, I suppose.

EUREKA! You just reminded me about some hidden bottles of Tequila I had long forgotten about!

Oh happy day!

Perhaps you're not drinking the correct rum? Or perhaps you are, but aren't drinking the ones I'm about to recommend?

I recommend trying Zaya, which in the Oregon Territory comes in their 15 year aged version for around 30 Federal Reserve Notes.

The Kaniche XO Artisanal is very similar and delicious, but I have to bootleg it from the Washington Territory to get it.

Another recommendation is Cruzan's Single Barrel or Estate Diamond dark. They are around the same price as the Zaya.

If you want something with a much richer flavor, I recommend Cruzan Black Strap, which is around 15 FRNs in the Oregon Territory.

An interesting mixer for the Cruzan Black Strap is Dr. Pepper or simply pour a little over some vanilla ice cream.

I like all of these neat, or sometimes used in any rum drink recipe. Or with orange juice and a dash of grenadine. :)

I don't consider Bacardi as being a rum at all.

I hope these suggestions help with the rum interest, but if you're not interested than I hope you have an excellent day, anyway. :)
