Thinking over the coffee this morning...
It seems to me that much of a persons life is spent on the allocation of resources. Thinking about it, planning it, and doing it.
I suppose chief among them would be money and time, which could be considered interchangeable in many circumstances. One can trade money for time, or vice versa.
There are other resources to consider. Things such as energy, stamina, and patience. The capacity to care, and share, come into play as well.
Myself, this morning; I'm thinking about energy. Yesterday the chore of bottling wine pretty much took my entire store of energy to achieve. Today, I'm thinking of what I might like to accomplish, and how much energy I can allocate. The two numbers do not compute, and I must make choices.
Food shopping must happen. Major share of the allocation.
Making jam, and reloading might happen. Minor share, at best.
Laundry.... clearly a minor share, but it can be squeezed in.
I'd best take my coffee to the hot tub and consider todays allocations.
