As I read the outrage bait on FB, X, All Media, etc.... I get a certain feeling, and I think it's exactly what is intended to happen. A tensing in my chest, a scowl on my face, a feeling of incipient disgust that must be quelled. The disgust is aimed at my fellow humans, and may be too general. Perhaps it should be aimed solely at Politicians, scammers, and media drones. A Venn diagram of these three would be mostly overlap.
I'm going to attempt an experiment. Starting right NOW, a long weekend with as little internet lying garbage as humanly possible. I achieved it with TV, Radio, and Print news. It's the Internets turn.
Now, If I could just give up poking myself in the eye and hitting my head against the wall.
