Last week I worked doubles all week, staying in a hotel to turn drive-time into sleep-time.
I didn't see daylight from Sunday afternoon til Saturday morning.
This weekend I looked for peace, and pleasure. I got a little of one and damn near none of the other.
Tomorrow, I am out of the house at 4am to do it again. Next daylight..... Saturday morning.
This gets old.
I AM old.
I know the students don't care. I'm hoping I can keep caring.
Fat old retired nobody, blathering into the abyss.
