Flupocolypse, day 4

Today's challenge.... teamed with another instructor, prepare a 90 hour technical ed course for on-line presentation.  By Monday. In 3 working days.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA........ (Hysterical laughter)

Yeah, so all our campuses nationwide closed yesterday at COB, and on Monday we are supposed to go live with on-line education as best we can manage.

In my current course, basic electricity, I've pared that down to 25 video lessons at a minimum.  With my excellent partner, I *THINK* we can get that done by Friday.

Yeah, quality is going to suffer, and that rankles a lot.  So be it.... speed trumps quality at the moment, as most of our students elected not to take an LOA.  They want the education.

We'll fix the quality issues as we move forward.

How will we interact with our students on-line?  That remains to be determined.   Ask me tomorrow?

Herself wants to know when our trip point is. By that, I mean when we insist we both stay home with the kids and shelter in place.

I... just don't have an answer.  This morning I told her to just get used to the fact we WILL get the bug, and get ready to deal with it.

One day at a time.  Past that, I just don't know.
