Every time I shoot this thing, the same initial thought goes through my mind... 'Man, this thing is goofy looking'. To my vintage thinking, rifles should be blued steel with wooden handles.
Then, after shooting a bit, I have that other thought.... 'Who cares about goofy, this thing is sweet'.
The Hubble telescope on top just makes it. I can see what I'm shooting at, and even .17 holes at 100 yards are not a big challenge to score.
The only downside to the scope..... the big on-line retailer I bought it from now lists it $100 cheaper, just days after I bought it. Buggers..... color my luck bad on that timing. For that, they can go un-named.
