Let's look at those actions...

HT to Ammoland for this article, and Dave Workman (fine man that he is) for authoring it.
I'm using Dave's bullet points here concerning president Joe's rich, white, elderly, and Democrat executive actions on firearms.  After each, I'll express my thoughts.  Feel free to explain why I'm mistaken in any way you see fit.
Now, I'm not certain what are the differences between executive actions and executive orders.   Doing some reading this morning, what I come away with is an impression.  Executive 'orders' are commandments from a president that applies to federal agencies. A 'thou shalt' if you will.  An Executive action seems more like guidance, as in 'here's what I'd like to see happen', and also only applies  to federal agencies.  As far as orders to individual citizens en-masse.... the president does not have any powers like that.
The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”
Yeah, so the problem here is the Justice Department already did that.  They made their rules, defined their definitions, and explained themselves in writing.  Any change they make at this point will effect a lot of citizens who followed the rules as they stood.  It's my understanding that judges defer to agencies (probably far too much), but judges also do not like agencies to change their rulings capriciously and arbitrarily.   Telling citizens the rule is applied thusly on one occasion, and then flipping that guidance 180 degrees on the next occasion does not go over well in court.  'Ghost Guns', if the term has any meaning at all, applies to firearms that are final-machined by the individual owner, and those have been standardized in law for as long as the nation has existed.  Changing that would be Supreme Court level drama.
The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.
Read above.  The same situation applies.  The agency in charge of these regulations (The ATF) has declared in writing exactly how these rules are to be interpreted, and private industry has already invested heavily based on the ATF's rulings.  The ATF has already tried to 'circle back' on their written ruling concerning this, and been slapped down in court.
The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states.
Um.... what the heck is 'model legislation'?  It sounds like the administration wants to write the legislation that will be enacted at state and local levels.  I can see that happening in slavish party controlled jurisdictions, but I suspect there's a larger number that would tell the admin to pound sand.
The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions.
Three lies for the price of one, and I call bullshit across the board. We've had too many examples of what they call evidence turn out to be wholesale prevarication and fantasy-ware.  Invest is code for pay-off, pocket lining, and theft. Violence intervention..... you mean like the violence in every major city run by Unca Joe's party for multiple generations?   Yeah..... we've already seen how much they care about violent criminals.... which is to say they love them with the warm, snuggly appreciation a 5 year old reserves for puppies and kittens.
The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking.
To be buried until future notice.  Nothing they put out will be done in a vacuum, and critics will move at warp speed to point out the single largest 'trafficker' of weapons by any realistic measure is the US Government.
The President will nominate David Chipman to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
This would be a wet-dream answer to the prayers of human rights foes nationwide. The dude has a long and consistent history, in both public and private employ, of holding the citizenry in contempt.   Not just contempt, but King Louis XVI levels of contempt. He's never met a human right he considered to be more important than his breakfast toast.
The question here is can the hair sniffers administration get Chipman past confirmation.  The man has had years to show his true character, and that will not be shaken off easily.... even with the single party control by death grip.
