A sad thought.

I was just reading an article that contained, among other things, a detailed list of a political parties efforts at oppressing citizens based on race.

Sure, the history is regretful, but that's not what I was thinking. Here's what makes me sad:

I don't know a single person who is non-partisan enough that I can discuss that article with them.

Most of the people I know would see it as a personal attack on their chosen tribe, while the rest would see it as justification for disdain.
