This morning Herself desired oatmeal, so oatmeal it was.

This left us with about a cup of cooked oatmeal leftover, as well as a smidge of the dry left in the container.

Bread, obviously.  Oatmeal and honey bread, to be exact.  100% AP flour, oatmeal, warm water, yeast, honey, a pinch of salt, and the most important ingredient.... time.

A cast iron fry pan makes an excellent bread pan for a rustic round loaf.  It suits the final rise, and transfers heat nicely.
