I loaded forty .300 Blk today. A 168-grain at around 1050 fps. 11.6 grains of IMR 4198 over a CCI benchrest primer. Took some care on case prep.
Yes, a poofster load with an arc like a brick, but who cares? I want quiet and comfy to shoot on the range, and paper targets don't bounce around.
The brass comes from a case of Winny white box, as it's cheaper right now to buy loaded ammo than empty new cases. Funny, Winny ammo but Lake City headstamps.
First I've loaded anything in a year I guess. I'll do more as it warms us.
