Don Lemon out at CNN. We know what he will do... have a book ghostwritten that will be remaindered before it's released, and line up lawyers to fight a slew of sexual harassment suits that CNN will not foot the bill on. CNN's parent company's stock barely blipped.
The same day, Fox News tosses Tucker Carlson. Carlson was their top host, rated number one across all networks, and brought in 3,000,000 viewers a night to FNC. What will Carlson do? That we don't know and I can't even guess. FNC stock? Dumped nearly a billion smackers in value last I checked.
Why did CNN chuck Lemon? The real question is why did they wait this long? He couldn't generate viewers if he danced naked and gave out fitty dollar bills live.
Why did FNC blow out Carlson? Man... that's going to be a tough question to get answered. It's entirely possible Fox may look back at today and peg it as the moment their empire really started spiraling into oblivion.
