Montons!

There was something on my mind, and nothing would serve but doing the Thing.

There were leftover eggroll wrappers in the fridge, and I made ricotta cheese yesterday.  These two facts just percolated till this morning, when these happened.


Fried wontons filled with sausage, ricotta, Gochujang, black pepper, dried garlic and onion, and an egg as binder.

MONSTER wontons, immediately dubbed MonTons.

I made herself a dipping sauce with soy, fish sauce, honey, and chili-crisp.  She also had a serving of pickled red cabbage to serve as a foil for the rich wontons.

Well, this is easy!  I can see this becoming a regular family meal.  I'm looking forward to other fillings too.  Shrimp-Ricotta, Cabbage-mushroom, pulled pork, apple-ricotta with honey.....
