Last night Mama said 'Light Dinner'. This is what I think a light dinner is.

Look how rich this chicken stock looks!

Double stock. Stock made by pressure cooking chicken in chicken stock. Look how rich it is! It will be chicken-stock gel after a night in the fridge.

For all those folks who WANT SOMETHING DONE NOW NOW NOW!!!!! Here is an appetizer. A State Dept embezzler charged in April with a case so tight she already plead guilty.

When I buy 'Store bought' lettuce, I try to stick with Romaine. Each head is not one, but three heads. Eat the first, plant the base of the head, and in a month you have another head of romaine. Cut it off an inch above the dirt, and soon another head of lettuce. It will keep doing that till the summer heat drives it to seed.

The tomatoes are in bloom already!

I'm astonished at how different fresh picked radishes taste compared to the red golf balls the store sells. Like it's not even close. Sharp flavor and a super crispy crunch.
