I had a taste on my mind. A mixture of flavors, and an idea for what the sum of the parts would be. Tonight I tried it, and it's .... acceptable.
I call this 'A Risky Business'.
- 1 jigger of cask strength whiskey (Town Branch)
- 1 jigger of amber rum (Goslings, from Bermuda)
- 1 jigger of our homemade Limoncello, which I suspect is a bit less sweet than most
- 2 shakes of Peychaud's bitters
Stir down, and pour over ice with a slice of lemon.
This checks off sooooo many boxes in my little black book of taste. Sweet, but not too sweet. Smoky, tart, smooth, and a party at the back of the tongue.
I can't stop sipping this dangerous Risky Business.
