Behold the power of this fully armed and operational Fowlmahal! Now that everything that plops out eggs is in one spot, instead of running all over hells half acre, I expect we will get some eggs going on. The young hens are coming online, and the ducks should start laying in a few months-ish.
All the hens, plus one rooster and one drake made it into the pen. That leaves 8 roosters (?) and 3 drakes out wandering the yard. 3-4 of those MIGHT turn out to be just butch hens, but we will see. They were 'supposed' to be Rhode Island Red hens, but all 4 are crowing...
The take from this morning. I think the wee eggy was a young hen figuring out how to do this.
