Charlie Kirks execution, and why it hit's so hard.

Why is this heinous murder effecting so many people in so many ways?

The man was assassinated for talking to people.

Kirk was executed for the crime of encouraging debate.

He never forced anyone to come to his table. He didn't have that power.  He just sat there and invited people to talk with him.

In a world where words are used to control people, authority cannot allow people to talk in freedom. It's the biggest threat to their quest for power over others.

Charlie Kirk just sat down and said "I'm here to talk if you want to".  For this he was gunned down while people celebrated his murder.  Simply by existing, Kirk revealed the sickest, most depraved, most vicious, most hateful people among us, and they slaughtered him for exposing their true nature.

That is why this hits so hard.  That, and the knowledge that one can't 'discuss' things with a rabid animal.  They are beyond discussion and reason, and leave no choices in dealing with them.  The only road they left open is the hard one.
