Egg drop soup, a depression era favorite.

I've been reading about depression era foods that stretched food budgets and kept the family going no matter what.  Very interesting what pops up.  Things like.... egg drop soup.  Who would have thought that simple recipe was a favorite of the masses?  Makes perfect sense now, but I never would have thought of it myself.

Herself is NOT a fan.  A texture thing.  I'm willing to bet some hunger sauce and a few saltine crackers would change her tune.
