The door to the wood stove just fell off! Hinge pins finally rusted through. This ancient stove is worth fixing. Nothing built today would suit us as well.
There are extreme-temp epoxies out there. Might be interesting to give one a try.

Epoxy gonna be temporary. It'll fail again when you least expect it... Murphy is a bastard. Drill it out and replace the pins. It's a pain in the butt, but it'll outlast you. Are both pins shot or just one and the other going fast?
I heat with wood and this is the wrong time of the year for that failure. If you can nurse it until spring without burning down the house, that would sure make the repair easier.
Without actually seeing the failure it's hard to advise, but... I think being able to secure the piece to a workbench with a C clamp it vise is the first step. Then maybe dress the remnants with a Dremel so you can center punch the stud to start the drill bit. Post pictures of your repair please. I have door pins walking out of my stove door and they make me a little nervous. I need to address them but I'll probably wait until I have a problem too. Too many tasks and not enough daylight...
Wisdom. I bit the bullet and did it the right way. Of the four pieces of broken pins, I managed to walk two out. The other two I busted a couple pin punches on, and then gave up and drilled. Hard part there is no straight shot for the drill, so I had to walk it a bit. Fixed now, but I'd like to get better quality pins before next year.
