Picked up two old cookbooks last night, at the library fund raising used book store. Both volumes of the Frugal Gourmet I didn't already own.
In one is a recipe for Basmati rice that sounds like it will make a perfect base rice, and is easy. I think I shall make a bit this morning, and reserve it to make a sausage and rice dish for dinner. Hmmm........ already looking forward to the flavor.
