(Nice shootin' iron too. How far does that magazine extension extend in front of the muzzle? I've always wanted one for my Mozzy but didn't know if that was kosher.)
Regardless- I'll be waiting on Part II, when you run a comparison on some different slugs- especially some sabot rounds. ;)
The Magazine runs about 1.5" in front of the muzzle. It's a Remington factory extension, and about the toughest I have seen.
It doesn't seem to hurt a thing with being fired, just catches some of the blast and leaves a mark which wipes off.
Comparing slugs.... Hmm..... and I don't have a slug gun. It would be a lot like doing the Rimfire ammo piece I think, with each gun having it's own preference.
