An update on whats happening with the fundraiser for our own Tam.....
OldNFO, Marooned,
and a host of other gun-bloggers have taken up the standard on this
battle. The idea is real, real simple.... our good friend and snark
queen has a small issue with cancer. I'm sure it's all going to come
out just fine, but I'm also certain her doktors are rubbing their hands
in glee while watching the spinning numbers on her personal bill ticker
moving along at blinding speed.
Our Tam does not have medical insurance. Been there...
Done that.... and it can be more a pain than the actual medical issue.
To answer that need, a whole big bunch of the gun blogging tribe are
taking up a little collection, in our own way.
There's going to be a raffle.... and Oh What A Raffle it's going to be. Check out OldNFO and Marooned
for regular running tabulations on who's pitched in what.... but
suffice to say the prize pile is BIG, and there's not a thing there that
wouldn't cause me to chuckle like Renfield upon winning. I got $500
in raffle tickets saying *I* have a chance at OldNFO's Colt Python.
Just saying.....
Now, Carteach is chipping in the ISSC M-22 .22 pistol as shown above. It's used, but as-new
and well cared for. It comes with the original case and a handful of
spare magazines. Read the linked review for more info on the pistol.
Want a shot at winning it? Easy.... just go to Tam's blog and
hit up the PayPal button on the right side. Every $25 in donation buys
you a chance. PayPal will send you a receipt. Forward that receipt to
OldNFO
at Oldnfo AT gmail DOT com. Tell him you want it towards Carteach's
M-22. That's it.... you are in the running. When he tells me who won
the drawing, I'll ship to the winners FFL dealer, or maybe just drive it if the winner is in my part of the world.
If the donations to Tam towards this pistol top $1000, I will sweeten the pot for the winner somehow, just to say thanks.
Now...... lets show the world how a REAL family does things. Start digging into that change jar folks.....
