I don't know what that is, but this vehicle needs one....

04 Toyota Sienna soccer mom rocket ship.....

Someplace under there is an antifreeze leak.  A significant one, not that any are insignificant.... but this one is large enough to have a steady drip, drain the system, and cause noticeable symptoms.

Under the wiper arms and transmission, under the cowl, under the intake plenum and lower intake, under the knock sensors and a berjillian wires, hoses, sensors, and harness...... there lives a coolant manifold and a %$#@!*$ Coolant bypass hose!!

The dealer didn't even have a name for the part (But they damn well had it in stock), and the data systems had no info on how to change it, nor a labor time to do so.

It took me about 5 hours total on the job, and anything else that could/should be serviced or replaced while I was in there.... got done.  About $200 in parts our cost.  Plugs, gaskets, T-stat, hoses, clamps.... all new.

It's designs like this that make almost all techs want to spend a little time in a locked room with vehicles design 'engineers'.  Just an hour or two, with no witnesses.
