While out and around, I stopped at The Corn Wagon. One $15 bag of huge Roma tomatoes later, it was time to be home.
A dehydrator load of halves, which will take a day or two to fully dry. There might be enough to do another load after that. These will be destined for stews and chili over the winter.
Also a pot full of summer simmering on the stove. I'll process this into pint jars once it's cooked down and thickened. Just plain tomato sauce with nothing added but a smidge of citric acid for preservation. This will be a lovely addition to dishes over the winter.
