By nature, I am usually on the leading edge of the worry-wave on economic issues. Our economy is a big scary bear of a creature, which nobody understands well, nor sufficiently accounts for. We are but minuscule critters caught up in it's rampaging ways.
That said... the latest round of economic DOOM!!!11!!!!11!!!! seers just happen to be the exact same folks who gave us the RUSSIA!!111!!!!11! hoax, the GUN CONTROL!!!111!!!!11!! fantasy, The RACISM !!11!!!1!!! everywhere bullshit, and the WHITE NATIONALISTS !!!111!!! (all 879 of them) load of crap.
What do these stories all have in common? A political party thrashing wildly for anything..... anything at all..... that will stick to their opponents and help lead them back into power. Truthfulness is not required, just a sticky mass of excrement the poo-flinging monkeys of the media can use as ammo*.
Where does that leave us? With a media so heavily biased in multiple directions that nothing they say is relevant anymore. As we know what they will say on any given issue in advance, no matter actual facts, what value do they offer? None. All they offer is (Opinion, Unchanging, Mk1, Mod1)
Could we be facing an economic downturn? It's ALWAYS possible. No... it's always INEVITABLE. The only question is when, and what shape will the destroyer take.
The current crop of doomies though, have popped up with their grinning faces predicting stories of a coming Dollar-Pocolypse just in time to prepare us for an upcoming election in which they hold a confessed stake.
Yeah..... I give that coincidence as much credence as I give the utterly non-surprising conclusion regarding Epstein's suicide.
I take heart in knowing these talking faces have been so, so wrong on everything else they've blathered at us in the last few years. Yes, I know, blind squirrels and all that..... but I know which way the odds are running this time.
* Remember..... Poo Flinging Monkeys always create their own ammunition.
