'Pedantic'.

Now, there's a word which has fallen into disuse.

The last time someone used Pedantic at me, it was in a somewhat twisted and almost certainly alcohol-induced email.

I'll have to scrounge among the files and see if I still have that e-mail.

(Update) Found it! Wow.... after years and years, I almost understand what she was trying to say.

Water long flowed past. Hope she is doing well, behind that door long closed.
