BS: 160   :(

Gym today.  16 degrees.   Fire lit.  Coffee.

Gym, alone today.  I discovered a 2.2 mile pace on the rat wheel matches the back beat on most of the electric blues tunes.  Walking the mill like a man with an attitude.... lol.

Grocery shopping... yay?   I can't say shelves were unusually bare, but certain areas have clearly changed.  Pet foods, cereal, imported stuff... all showing heavy facing or shorter footage.

Lots of beef was yellow-tagged today!   Don't see short-date discounts on beef too often.  I bought enough to finish filling the freezer of the side by side.  Only half a dozen packs, but something.

That means dinner tonight will be Braciola!  Thin beef rolled with spinach and cheese, with a schmear of onion-bacon jam.  The rolls will be lined up in a casserole dish, covered with garlic-tomato gravy and roasted.

Gas prices have not changed in a week... stable to the penny.  Food prices looked to be *mostly* the same.  A couple prices in the cereal aisle reminded me of a year ago, while some prices in dairy and cheese had me shy away.

Flipping COLD.... which is what I was thinking as I read this
post by Tam;  How skills perish with disuse.   I have to agree, having not done any serious shooting in a couple months.  No fun shooting when you CAN'T FEEL YOUR FINGERS.

In answer, I pulled out an accurate rifle and did a bit of dry firing, and I'll do the same with a few pistols this evening after dinner.
