Crazy times.   Looking at cat food... for the cats.... and finding I can feed them canned tuna *cheaper* than I can feed them cheepo Friskies.    

Once, at 18 years old, I had a new family to support.  Thus I was working two jobs, about 18 hours a day.  One job was minding a stop-and-rob gas station.   At the time, Goobermint was playing games with the fuel market, and gas prices were comparatively high.   Me being the smartass I am, I did some tactical mathing, and determined our customers could buy the cheap beer for LESS than the cost of gasoline.

Yeah.... feeding canned tuna to the furry hell demons is like that.

My wise friends, please fill this blank thought hole in my head.

Several congress-critters have questioned FBI leadership under oath over the last week or so. The question "Did the FBI play any role in instigating the January 6th incidents?" was asked in several different ways, all to the same answer; "I can't answer that question" after a preface of not being able to discuss ongoing operations.

To my mind, that does more to confirm a positive answer than a negative one. I'm certain there must be legitimate reasons for a Feeb boss to answer those questions in that manner.

What are they? I'm coming up blank.

I had time today, and otherwise undedicated energy, so back to the gym for another 1/2 mile on the mill. That's about 15 minutes of increased heartrate and deeper breathing.... that I *wouldn't* have had otherwise. Besides, it keeps me from thinking about food while I sit in the &*%%^## recliner.

Picked up a few cases of new wine bottles while I was out, and a handle of 100p spiced rum. The rum is now getting cozy in the last carboy of Cherry Complex spiced wine, and I'll bottle tomorrow. First sneak taste..... WOW!

Our cranberry wine, paired with a lunch of meats, warm olives, and pickles.
