Looked at the Wyoming primaries this morning. Liz is out. My first thought at the numbers: "Well, THAT is beyond the margin of fraud!"

3:1 voting, with record turnout.

I can believe Liz Cheney is doing what she thinks is right even though I find her decisions deeply wrong. That said, she also chose to go with her beliefs over representing her constituent's beliefs. Last night was their chance to tell her what they think of her actions.

Last night the Wyoming Repubs made it very clear Lizzy does not represent their views in her actions. This morning she says she has lots of work left on J6 as their representative. Thus, she demonstrates exactly why she lost her primary.

Here's a thought. Where would The Trumpster be (politically) if the D's had not orchestrated the never-ending Trump-Trial, and their latest stunt of raiding his home? I think he'd be quite a ways down the memory hole if they didn't keep boosting him back up. If that is so, the question becomes why do they do it? Is it on purpose or are they just that stupid?

Yesterday I canned about 1.5 gallons of doctored-up tomato sauce which is ready to use. I also dehydrated a bunch of green peppers. In addition, I tried a recipe for canning chopped tomatoes in the pressure cooker. Yeah, well, BAD RECIPE, no donut. I'll dump the results into a blender today with about 10 pounds of their cousins and make up as much tomato puree as the canner will hold.

pigpen51 said...: From some of the things that I read about the people of Wyoming, Lizzy was a representative of the state in name only. She lives in Virginia, and has not been back to visit Wyoming unless she is forced to.
The kind of people who live in Wyoming tend to not like people like that, and she did not have a chance, no matter her actions about former president Trump and his impeachment or January 6th actions.
But those actions pretty much put a fork in her, because she was done. The people never seemed to feel like she was really representing their desires or values, but she was only using them for her chance at power and wealth. And like we understand, the people of states like Wyoming don't like to be used like that, and she had little chance of winning no matter what she did.
I see now that she is threatening to run for president. The Democrats will give her money to try and let her win the nomination against Trump. That is of course, if Trump is not in jail, awaiting trial for what ever charges they can pull together for him, after the totally ridiculous raid on his home.
