About 3 cups of flour. I use bread flour. Mix in 4 tablespoons of sugar, a heaping tablespoon of baking powder (Rumfords), a scant teaspoon of baking soda, and a teaspoon of salt.
That's the dry. Stir that.
The wet: In a two cup measuring cup, cut up 3/4 a stick of butter. Fill it the rest of the way with whole milk. Heat in the microwave till it's warm (100 degrees) and the butter is all melted.
Pour the wet into the dry, stir it around till it's a mixed dough, and then use a scoop to drop measured lumps on a dry baking sheet. I double up my lumps. Bake at 425 for about 15 minutes till 195 internal and browning.
I brushed these with a quick made honey butter.
