This is uncannily close to the truth. I've been told by a customer their hub caps fell off after I changed their oil, an idle adjustment caused an alternator to fail, and (my personal favorite) we had to do the repair for free because they already paid a shop in another state to do it once... and all repair shops are owned by the same guy.
My second favorite was the woman who had a public screaming fit that we 'broke her steering wheel' while repairing a hub bearing. Yeah.... so it was a Ford Bronco and she'd owned it for 15 years without knowing it had a tilt column.
